Nordic Winner
Nordic Hamster Council Rules and Agreement
1. Participating Clubs:
The agreement is between the Nordic hamster clubs: SHS (Svenska Hamstersällskapet), DHF (Dansk Hamster Forening), and SHY (Suomen Hamsteriyhdistys) as of the year 2019.
Other Nordic clubs may join by being voted in at the yearly meeting, held during the Nordic Hamster Show.
2. Annual Meeting:
The arranging club is responsible for organizing the yearly meeting at the Nordic Hamster Show.

3. Communication:
The Nordic Hamster Council maintains a Facebook group with at least one representative from each club.
Matters between yearly meetings will be discussed in this group.
4. Titles:
Each club’s champion titles are recognized by the other clubs.
A champion title is awarded in a club upon earning 3 certificates from that club. To earn a champion title from another club, one certificate must be obtained at a show arranged by that other club (this certificate may be earned before or after the initial title).
A ”Nordic Champion” title is awarded to hamsters that have earned champion titles in three different countries within the Nordic Hamster Council.
The Nordic Hamster Show will also award titles for each species:
– Nordic Winner (NordW-year) for standardized colors.
– Nordic Non-Standard Winner (NordNW-year) for non-standardized colors.
– Nordic Guidestandard Winner (NordGW-year) for guide standard colors.
The classification of colors as standard or non-standard will be included in the invitation to the Nordic Hamster Show each year. The list of colors will be reviewed at the yearly meeting.
– Nordic Junior Winner (NordJW-year) for standardized colors.
– Nordic Junior Winner (NordGJW-year) for guidestandard colors.
– Nordic Junior Winner (NordNJW-year) for non-standard colors.
– Nordic Pet Winner (NordPW-year) for pet classes.
